Sheer Heart Attack

Gaza Strippers - Sheer Heart Attack
Too bad some of Queen's most rocking songs are never remembered by rock radio. There was so much more to the band than the bombastic self-indulgence Classic Rock radio shoves down our throat. The Gaza Strippers perform a true to the original cover of the 1977 album track, but jack up the sonic intensity by setting the guitars to stun. This version was from 2002 import only(?) release "From the Desk of Dr. Freepill" and this is the highlight of the album. This song reiterates what fine songwriters Mercury, May and crew were. Sad we can never get past "Bohemian Rhapsody"

As for the Gaza Strippers, things seem to be uncertain at the moment. I knew they were on hiatus due to Rick Sims fathering twins a couple of years ago. Their website is also down. Anyone know what is going on?
